Weekly micro update
Lots of exciting things have been happening these last few days what with it being the week before christmas and all. Games are going on sale all over the place (for example, Battlefield 2142 for £3.75, and Medal Of Honor for free), games are being updated with festive themes (Heroes Of Newerth and Quake Live), and I’m participating in more trials and betas this week than I have in all 2009 (Allods Online, Crysis Wars, Age Of Conan), while those of you who still haven’t played Heroes Of Newerth now have access via an open beta. In other news, that’s probably the most hotlinks i’ve written in a paragraph EVER.
One of the good things about writing a blog is that I find myself constantly searching for things to write about, which means I’m a lot more up to date with gaming news than before I started. Be sure to constantly check the Twitter bot at the top of the sidebar, or even follow me on Twitter if you use it yourself. I’ll always post about things I may not think important enough to make a full blog post on (aka, when I can’t be bothered to make a full blog post on). Oooh! What does THIS do?
I’ve been messing around with getting an image uploader to work on the site. It currently has it’s own page but I’m trying to work out how to embedd it into the blog somehow. In the meantime, the image uploader is free to use and you don’t need to sign up. An added benefit is that all images are publicly viewable in the ‘/images’ folder, so get sharing. I’ll try and get a gallery up so it’s easier to browse the images.
Use your common sense when uploading, for example don’t upload images here that you wouldn’t upload to any other image host. I will be forced to close it down if it gets abused.
Update: I scrapped this, I still have my own but YOU CAN’T USE IT HahahhahahaHere, have this rocket-launcher

If you haven’t been here before (and chances are, you haven’t), then let me explain the thought process behind AltTabbed. AltTabbed is a place for me to post about things which affect my life, primarlily computer games, but also random observations, rants, technology, anything I find interesting. Hopefully my quirky views will be enough to make you check back every once in a while to read, however I understand that with the vast amount of blogs on the internet, expecting to gain a large amount of readers quickly is foolish. I will post for personal gain and any comments will be a bonus.
